Your trees & shrubs are valuable asset to your home and family. We at Pinkston’s are dedicated to the cause of helping your landscape be healthier and more vibrant. Caring properly for trees & shrubs requires a working knowledge in plant species, life cycles, disease susceptibility, harmful insects, chemical control measures, and environmental protection procedures. We have the expertise in these areas and the experience to properly make decisions that will benefit your landscape. We offer three tree & shrub programs to fit the needs of your landscape and budget.
Premium IPM Tree & Shrub Program
This special program uses the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach to controlling insects and diseases in your landscape environment. Monitoring the landscape is a key to this program. The actual number of visits made to your home and the treatments done will vary according to the needs of your trees and shrubs. At the initial landscape inspection our trained horticulturalist will evaluate the needs of your plants and build a plan to care for your landscape. Treatments will be tailored to meet the needs of your special landscape. Note: Some plants are prone to problems that are not controllable with insecticides or fungicides. These problematic plants will be identified, the problem will be clarified at the time of the inspection and if there is a solution to the problem, it will be explained. The Premium IPM program includes:
> Regular Inspections of all your landscape plants.
> Treatment of pest & disease problems will occur in a timely manner for maximum control based on your original inspection. Pesticides will be used minimally and alternatives to pesticides will be suggested when applicable. Eradication of all bugs in your landscape is not advisable, some insects are "good bugs", others are not. In this program, we selectively target the unwanted insects.
> In-house diagnostics is available to you when you have a question and are looking for a professional opinion. You can also check our Question & Answer section of our website.
> Service Calls, as needed, including treatment of new pest problems as they arise through the season.
Price: The price of this Premium IPM program is based on the type of plants you have in your landscape and the obvious pest/disease problems that can occur during the season. The total cost for the program is divided into four equal payments to be paid during the growing season. If you prepay of the service, you will receive 5% off the package price.
